Some folks upgraded their 5 & 5.5G Ipod to new Ipod Classic software

Looks like some hackers have figured out how to backport the latest firmware from the Ipod Classic to their older 5 and 5.5 g siblings. Article found over @ the Giz says its a little quirky and not bullet proof yet. You can read more here

    They didnt upgrade the firmware they just made their current firmware look like the new one…

    Yeah your right, sorry, it sounds like a waste of time anyhow, but kinda neat too.
