Conceited Software has just released its GUI jailbreak. It’s not a one stop shop, and you will have to downgrade to 1.1.1 if you bought an iPod Touch with 1.1.2 installed. What the GUI does is perform the jailbreak after you run OktoPrep in 1.1.1 and then upgrade to 1.1.2. The Software runs under OS X and Windows, grabs the data off your iPod touch or iPhone, upgrades it with the Jailbreak, installs Installer.app and SSH.app, and reloads it back to your unit. The whole procedure takes about 10 minutes and after, you have a fully updated 1.1.2 jailbroken system.

Full instructions are in the README which comes with the GUI.

i dont really see the point in upgrading. Disk use would be nice but SSH works quite well for me

so I installed customize on my touch and now slot of my applications are hidden including the customize.app. So im going to update to 1.1.2 and see if that’ll fix it.hope so. Ill let you guys know how it goes.

It worked. My problem was that i accidentally made the customize application hidden along with the preferences. So i couldn’t get them back cause it was hidden. Quite an easy mistake to make on the customize, cause if you click on the application to scroll down the page it hides it. Anyway i now have 1.1.2. I though it was ment to have Disk use? it doesnt thogh. Anyway it was easy to upgrade but you have to install all your apps again.
