SIP-VOIP does not work on the iPhone - media is garbled. There is a related software called SIPHON that does work on the iPhone, but it is restricted to running on sipfree.fr right now. There are workarounds to open it up to other sip/voip nets but the app just doesn't work well yet.

A *much* better app for VoIP on the iPhone right now is Fring www.fring.com. It works with both SIP and Skype, and the audio quality of a voip call over wifi is excellent.
